1. Take Ginger Tea 3 times (not more than that) in a day when you have Cold or Cough, but don’t do this if you have ulcers in stomach.
Note: when you take this Tea if you feel any uneasiness in stomach or any side effects it means that you are having ulcers and visit doctor.
2. If you are suffering with Cold then take some water put some Neem leafs and 1 spoon of turmeric powder boil them together and take steam. Do this twice a day, its bit hard to take this steam but its worth to try.
3. If you are suffering with Cough take 2 spoons of Oregano(Omma) into mouth chew it and take in. Do this daily which helps you a bit.
4. A spoon full of turmertic powder can be given to the child with a little warm water. This would surely help in getting away the cold and cough in a few days.
5. Grapes tone up the lungs and act as an expectorant, relieving a simple cold and cough in a couple of days. A cup of grape juice mixed with a teaspoon of honey is advised for cough relief.
